In the module English A2 students further develop their skills and competences at level A2 of the Common
European Framework of Reference for Languages.

- Various topics from society, politics, economics with relevance for students of all disciplines;
- Reading of didactic and easy authentic texts;

- oral and written text reproduction;
- Discussions, short presentations;
- Exercises in grammar, idioms, lexis and syntax

- Remark on the assessment methods
The portfolio examination is worth 100 points and consists of two 30 minute written examination (K30), and two oral examinations (M). The two K30 and the two M are weighted by 25 points each.

- Recommended prior knowledge
Passed placement test for level A2 or higher, passed level A1
- Knowledge Broadening
The students learn expandable basic knowledge on the basis of general and business topics.
They acquire solid oral and written basic knowledge of general language, taking into account general business situations.
- Communication and Cooperation
Students who have successfully completed this module will be able to deal competently with the grammatical structures of the language, develop texts independently and produce short texts/presentations of their own.
