• Principles of modeling of systems: system analyses, modeling, mathematical principles, model types, model calibration and validation
• Characterization of the main processes of the agrarian plant production, the green house production and the water and solute transport in soil
• Practical application of models with case studies about agrarian plant production, green house production and water and substance transport in soil

The students know about most of the application possibilities and the limits for simulation models.

They have a broad, detailed and critical knowledge about the application of models in a special system (soils, agrarian plant production, green house production)
