How can I study at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences?

Do you have a university entrance qualification?

Are your language skills sufficient?

For most of our German-language degree programs, you need level C1 to be able to cope with life and study in Germany.

We accept these certificates and, as a telc examination center, also regularly offer German language examinations.

Do you have to provide any other documents?

For some degree programs, you must prove that you have previously completed an internship in a company. You will need a portfolio for artistic degree courses.

 

Do you need a visa to enter Germany?

The topic of visas is very extensive and individual for everyone.
Important: Getting a visa can take a while. So apply for your visa as early as possible.

We have three recommendations for you:

  1. Do you need a visa?
    Whether you need a visa depends on the country you come from. You can find out which rules apply to your country on the DAAD website.
     
  2. Where can you get a visa?
    You apply for a visa in your home country at the German embassy or the German consulate general:
    • Student applicant visa
      If you have not yet received a letter of admission from the university.
    • Student visa
      If you have already received an acceptance letter from the university.
       
  3. How do you apply for a visa?
