Structure of the program
The Business Administration and Management Bachelor’s degree program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is comprised of six semesters. The practice-oriented program familiarizes the students with current management techniques and prepares them to independently solve the challenges of later professional life.
In the first two semesters, students become familiar with the principles of Business Administration. Starting in the third semester, students can choose between 13 in-depth specializations and three major fields of study according to their personal preference thus refining their own individual profile. The possibility of a voluntary study semester abroad completes the degree program.
Key qualifications such as Rhetoric and Presentation Skills are also promoted. The program also offers instruction in various business languages such as English, Spanish, French, Russian or Chinese.
Choice of in-depth specializations possible from the third semester
The modules are identical for all study beginners in the first and second semesters. This is followed by the choice of a study variant which determines the remaining study time. Students may choose an individual combination of specializations and electives or one of three major fields of study. Students deciding on a semester abroad select one specialization in Osnabrück plus various electives or a specialization abroad.

Standard degree program
The standard Business Administration and Management degree program can be selected by study beginners in the winter and the summer semester and comprises the following modules:
- Business language, level 3 (CEF B1/B2)

- Specialization 2, module 1, or Elective
In the standard degree program, students may either select two specializations or one specialization and three electives from the third semester. Each specialization consists of three modules. The specializations and electives can be combined according to individual preferences:

Study semester abroad
After the first two semesters, students of the Business Administration and Management degree program can decide on a semester abroad at one of our over 100 partner universities. The semester abroad is integrated into the course of studies in such a way that students are enabled to complete the degree program within the regular period of studies.
Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers comprehensive support for the semester abroad, including language modules at advanced level 4 (CEF B2/C1) in the language of the degree program at the partner university. The required prior knowledge of the language may be acquired in the first two semesters. The semester abroad variant comprises the following modules:

- Business language, level 4 (CEF B2/C1): in the language of the degree program at the partner university
In the degree program with integrated semester abroad, students have to select a specialization in the third semester. The specialization's three modules are completed at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.

In the fourth or fifth semester, students complete a semester abroad which includes elective modules from the field of business studies. The modules can be selected according to personal interest and may also be combined into a specialization abroad.
The acedemic performance during the semester abroad is integrated into the degree program to enable students to complete the program within the regular period of studies.

Industry-specific Logistics Management
The field of study "Industry-specific Logistics Management" in the degree program Business Administration and Management is primarily aimed at students having started their studies in the winter semester but may also be chosen by students having started in the summer semester if they adapt their lecture plan accordingly. The field of study "Human Resource Management" in the degree program Business Administration and Management is primarily aimed at students having started their studies in the winter semester but may also be chosen by students having started in the summer semester if they adapt their lecture plan accordingly.
