Structure of the program
The six-semester course is divided into two study sections. For the first three semesters, vocational school training is recognized or, for students from foreign universities, adequate previous academic achievements. The second phase of study – semesters 4 to 6 – is completed at the university.
Curriculum for the Physiotherapy course
First study stage (semesters 1–3)
Recognition of the physiotherapy training at the vocational school or adequate preliminary achievements for students from foreign colleges/universities
Second study stage (semesters 4–6)
With entry into the 4th semester, the attendance phase at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences starts.
The course is divided into four competency areas, which are color coded in the course plan: methodological competencies (blue), professional action competencies (green), language and communication competencies (yellow) and related science competencies (orange).
The Academic Project and the Bachelor Thesis are planned for the sixth semester.
The teaching language is English. Exams can be conducted in English or German.
