Technology Analysis, Engineering and Management (M.Eng.), Campus Lingen (Ems)
Areas of Specialization
Areas of Specialization
The areas of specialization for the Master’s Program Technology Analysis, Engineering and Management are designed to complement the main area of study and deliver a direct connection to the field of operation the students are working in. The areas are grounded on the knowledge and expertise the students gained within the studies of the preceding degree and further deepen those in a specific discipline. Students are free to choose one of the predefined areas of specialization or combine modules from several areas individually. Nevertheless, except for the specialization area Industrial Engineering and Management, modules scheduled for the first and fifth semester are mandatory regardless of the area of specialization or combination of modules.

The concept of this area of specialization is designed for every semester to be composed of one technical and one business management module. Hence, fifty percent of the program consist of modules scheduled in the Master’s program Technology Analysis, Engineering and Management and fifty percent of the Master’s program Management and Organization. Students are free to choose their modules independently; they are not bound to neither compulsory modules nor the limits of the area of specialization. As a result, students are enabled to assemble their schedule for the Industrial Engineering and Management studies individually according to their interests and the needs and requirements of their company. Further information concerning the module offer of the Master’s program Management and Organization can be found on the programs website.
