Mechatronic Systems Engineering (M.Sc.)
Master of Science
Features of the degree program
Mechatronic systems are distinguished by their spatial and functional integration of mechanics, electronics, and information processing. In addition to their multidisciplinary professional qualification, engineers in mechatronics are expected to exhibit a capacity for teamwork, system-oriented thinking, and interdisciplinary working methods. The Master degree program Mechatronic Systems Engineering is excellent preparation for these interdisciplinary tasks. Mechatronics is the key to technological innovation in many areas. Examples include modern industrial robots, aircraft, and automotive braking and steering systems and engine control systems. Students profit from application-oriented project activities, which are linked with many modules of the degree program. They also cooperate in ongoing research projects at the Federal State, Federal, and EU level along with interesting industrial partners.
