Theory-practice transfer

The decisive feature of a dual study programme and at the same time its most significant advantage is the linking of the theoretical knowledge acquired at the university with practical experience in the company. The Institute for Dual Study Programs attaches great importance to this, so that you can benefit from a particularly intensive theory-practice transfer.

Learning in the block model

There are many different organisational and time forms of a dual study programme. In our training and practice-integrated degree programs, you study in blocks, which means that a 10- to 12-week university phase is followed by about 14 to 16 weeks in the partner company. In the vocationally integrating Master's degree programmes, you have three block weeks per semester. This allows you to concentrate fully on the current learning location during the respective phase and to build up extensive knowledge and wide-ranging experience.

Learning atmosphere and environment

We prefer a personal learning atmosphere in small study groups. This facilitates active and intensive study and offers you very good study conditions. For example, we give you plenty of room for exchange in theory and practice, to discuss aspects in your company or to discuss experiences with lecturers. In addition, you will study at a new and modern campus in Lingen with direct train connections and dormitories within walking distance. In addition, we at the Institute pursue a high standard of quality, which is confirmed again and again by the trust placed in us by our cooperation partners. This includes the fact that all our degree programs are accredited, i.e. they have been put through their paces by external examiners.
